Hey everyone!

Hanging of the Green was awesome. Our Primetime Youth Choir did an excellent job last night, and we had a blast at Wing’s N More. It was good to see everyone out there with their families, and having a good time. Also, I just have to say, you guys have been an absolute blessing to me and my family this first year. I am really thankful for all of our Youth and Parents who make this ministry fun, exciting and possible.

BIG REMINDERS!

The Youth Garage Sale begins in January: I would like everyone (students and parents) to keep a close eye out for information concerning the Garage sale. Pick Ups will begin January 5^th. And as we get closer more information will be coming.

NERF WARS

We’ve been talking about doing this for some time, but ya’ll? THE RECKONING IS AT HAND. Tentatively, on Friday, Dec 14^th from 6-8pm we will meet up at the church for a time to let everyone have some fun before the final projects and tests commence in full. So bring your nerf gun and a friend for a fun night to work out some aggression, but more importantly, enjoy the big family that is Christ UMC Youth.

CHRIST UMC YOUTH XMAS PARTY

Hey guys, mark on your Calendars the Christ UMC Youth Party which will be held on Dec 9 at the Gully’s! Guys, will need to bring a 2 liter bottle of Soda, and girls will need to bring a Dessert. We will also be doing a White Elephant gift exchange. If students want to participate, they need to bring a gift that is no more than $10. Maps will go out next week. Parents are to bring their kids to the Gully’s and pick them up afterwards.

DEC TWIN CITY MISSIONS COLLECTION

Guys, starting this weekend we will be starting our clothes collection for Twin City Missions. We will have Christmas trees in the Youth Room one for Middle School and one for High School. Please donate socks, gloves, jackets, blankets and other items needed for the winter to come.

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

 Refuel:  Nightly worship for all 7-12^th grade students in the Youth Room.

Christ Youth Weekly Information Nov 19-20 2012

Hey everyone!

It was so good to see everyone at the Thanksgiving Dinner last night. I am always encouraged to see our Students out and interacting with the Church Family. 

Big Reminders!

Just a reminder to everyone-that this Sunday Nov 25 there will be NO REFUEL. Instead we will be attending the Hanging of the Green Service together as a Youth Group in order to support our friends in the Youth Choir and to enjoy an evening of worship with our Church Family. Once that is done we will be going to Wings N More on Texas across from Burger King to eat dinner together and hang out! We hope to see everyone there!
