Christ Youth Info Dec 10-16

Hey everyone!

This season and semester has come and gone. And I am surprised about how quickly the time has passed. I just wanted to thank everyone for an awesome first school semester. Right now, our students are preparing for finals (which begin next week for some) and to get all their ducks in a row before the year is out. Let’s keep them in our prayers and make sure they don’t get too stressed out over these tests. The Christmas party went smashingly, as we had a high attendance and everyone had plenty of fun. I am also now a proud owner of a Connor Fink signed baseball, courtesy of our White Elephant Gift exchange. A big thanks goes out to the Gully’s for helping us out this weekend and hosting the Party for us. It was amazing. I am so grateful to be a part of these students’ lives.

This week is our last Refuel for the remainder of 2012, and we won’t start back up will January 6^th 2013. I want you all to have a very safe and fun holidays. And an ever joyous and merry Christmas.

BIG REMINDERS!

The Youth Garage Sale begins in January: I would like everyone (students and parents) to keep a close eye out for information concerning the Garage sale. Pick Ups will begin January 5^th. And as we get closer more information will be coming.

NERF WARS

This WILL be happening on DEC 14 starting at 6pm and going likely to 8:30pm. Bring your nerf guns and be prepared for a fun evening.

DEC TWIN CITY MISSIONS COLLECTION

Guys, we will are continuing our collection for Twin City Missions. Please donate socks, gloves, jackets, blankets and other items needed for the winter to come.

Refuel :  Worship and Studies for all of 7-12^th grade. 5-7:30pm in the Youth Room and room 96.

It was great to have everyone here this weekend for a normal Refuel. I know a lot of people are not feeling good out there. Just try and rest up and take it easy. We want everyone to be well this week and for the Holiday Season

CHRIST UMC YOUTH XMAS PARTY

 The Christ UMC Youth Party which will be held on Dec 9 at the Gully’s! Guys, will need to bring a 2 liter bottle of Soda, and girls will need to bring a Dessert. We will also be doing a White Elephant gift exchange. If students want to participate, they need to bring a gift that is no more than $10. DEC TWIN CITY MISSIONS COLLECTION

Guys, starting this Week we will be starting our clothes collection for Twin City Missions. We will have Christmas trees in the Youth Room one for Middle School and one for High School. Please donate socks, gloves, jackets, blankets and other items needed for the winter to come.
